Job Description:
- Serve as the subject matter expert in geotechnical engineering for the organization.
- Provide technical guidance on soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, ground improvement, and related areas.
- Review and approve geotechnical designs, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
- Oversee geotechnical investigations, analyses, and designs for infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of geotechnical solutions.
- Manage client relationships and provide technical presentations when required.
- Stay updated with advancements in geotechnical engineering and implement innovative techniques.
- Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools, and practices within the company.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff to build internal expertise.
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities.
- Ensure all geotechnical work adheres to Indonesian regulations and international standards.
- Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record in Indonesia.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques, soil mechanics, foundation design, and ground improvement methods.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of local geological conditions and construction practices in Indonesia.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Indonesia as required.
